Daniel K. Mitchell worked with Renaissance Aircraft and John Dearden in the period 1996 through 1998. He was present when, after the first licensing meeting with the TC licensor DLAHF, Mr. Dearden threatened to 'rape and pillage' that organization. Mr. Mitchell left the Renaissance company when Mr. Dearden refused to undertake any engineering reviews or drawing improvements which he believed were necessary to produce airplanes. Thereafter Mr. Dearden began to besmirch Mitchell's record, and he refused to pay moneys owed and invested by Mitchell in the Renaissance venture. Mr. Mitchell testified in a 2001 arbitration about Mr. Dearden, his comments, and his plans which he found to be improper, and unseemly.
